It started in 2022 when our founder watched a tourist in Haridwar pay ₹3,500 for the same japa mala his grandmother bought for ₹150 from the temple priest down the street. The mala was authentic. The price was not.
That asymmetry — between what the sacred costs at source and what we pay online — became Chandram's reason for being. We travel to source regions ourselves, work directly with families who have sourced sacred materials for generations, and price our products at honest margins. Nothing more.
